Lady Gladiators take care of business in Wortham
The Italy Lady Gladiator Softball Team travelled to Wortham on Tuesday night to take on the Lady Bulldogs. Beating Wortham 6-0, the Lady Gladiators played near flawless softball.
The first three innings of this contest were pitched by Junior, Courtney Westbrook. Courtney had three strike-outs and allowed four hits. While Freshman, Megan Richards took the last four innings racking up four K’s and allowing only 3 hits. The defense behind the pitchers was near perfect in this game.
