I would like to take this opportunity to thank the parents of all the Junior High kids who participated in Track this year. It was a great pleasure working with your children, and I am very proud of their success this season.

We had 56 young Gladiators participate in the Junior High District Meet. That is a great number for such a small school with no track to work on. To have placed in as many events as they did is a testament to the hard work and great attitudes displayed by all these kids in adapting to unusual training methods, while still achieving championship results at Track Meets.

I look forward to seeing their future successes as they grow into well-rounded athletes who compete in many different sports, rather than focusing on one or two. This participation is what is necessary to bring Italy back to the top of Texas Athletics across the board.
