Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. Milford ISD presented their Spring Concert by all three of their bands. The cafeteria was filled with proud parents, grandparents and beautiful music.

The music program begain with the Beginner Band playing BB’s First Rock, Band Room Boogie and Turbo Rock. Followed by the Junior High Band playing Tx Rex, Trumpet Hero, G Force Five and Dragons of the Ancient Court. Last but not least the High School band played Air and Dance, Patriotic Snippets, A River Trilogy, Wild Westerns and Swahali Folk Hymn.

Marilee Byrne (Principal) said, “We are just excited that we are able to offer a band from a school as small as ours and Mr. Trussell is able to get so much music out of such few kids and they enjoy it. We are just delighted that he is helping them develop this talent and love for music.”

Mike Trussell (Band Director) said, “We have a great group of kids, they never disappoint me, they try their very hardest. They have done a very good job and I am very proud of all three of the bands and I am very glad to be here with all this talent.”

The concert was indeed a success and really highlighted how talented the Milford ISD bands are.

Congratulations Milford ISD Bands – Way to Play!
