June 30, Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays at Chick-fil-A. From 5:30-8:30pm, you can receive a free kid’s meal with purchase of an adult meal. Located at 996 W. US Highway 287 Bypass. Also, on Thursday mornings at 9:30, all senior citizens can have Breakfast-n-Bingo. The bingo and the coffee are free.

Cow Creek Country Classic Bike Ride June 27. Bike ride begins at 7:30 am departing from the Waxahachie 9th Grade School. Proceeds allow the Waxahachie Rotary Club to benefit area charities, including the Habitat for Humanity, YMCA, United Way and Senior Citizens Center. ENNIS
Battle of the Imports, June 27 10:00a to 11:00p at Texas Motorplex. The Battle of the Imports series event offers today’s enthusiast competitive drag racing; a car show for imports, sport compacts, late model domestics, trucks and SUV’s; live stage entertainment featuring local talent, model expo and “Speed Queen” model search. MIDLOTHIAN
June 27-28, 10am-5pm Photo Expo, sponsored by the Midlothian Mirror and Midlothian Conference Center Arts Council. Last year’s show exhibited over 600 photos. Subjects will include portrait, landscape/scenery, floral, animals, sports, structures, transportation, people, still life and special effects. ARLINGTON
The Texas Rangers take on the San Diego Padres June 26-28 at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Located at 1000 Ballpark Way, ticket, promotions and schedule information can be seen on their website. Friday is Big Bang Friday Fireworks, Saturday, kids 13 and under receive a player jersey and Sunday is dog day, where you can bring your dog to the game. FREDERICKSBURG

BRASIL GUITAR DUO Fresh off of a world tour that included their Carnegie Hall debut, João Luiz and Douglas Lora have been invited by the Austin Classical Guitar Society and the Austin Chamber Music Center to play an intimate concert here. Luiz and Lora, who met in São Paulo when they were teenager guitar students, have been performing together for more than a decade and have been lauded for their “maturity of musicianship and technical virtuosity.” Jun 26 at 7:30. $25—$50. Because after seeing this Tony Award—winning musical adaptation of Ian Fleming’s children’s book, scads of audience members will wish they had such an adventurous contraption in their own garage. FORT WORTH
RED BULL X-FIGHTERS It’s no bull: The world’s best freestyle motocross riders will take over the historic Fort Worth Stockyards during their only U.S. stop as they compete for points leading up to the international series championship, to be held in London in August. Among the A-list daredevils who’ll be wowing the crowd will be Mat Rebeaud (Switzerland), Dany Torres (Spain), Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg (U.S.), and Robbie Maddison (Australia), who holds the Guinness World Record for longest motorcycle jump.
