The Greater Milford 1st Annual Texas Music Festival is August 22, 2009. All kinds of fun will be had on this day. There will be lots of good music to be heard by Billy Joe Shaver, Dallahachie Boys, Tucker Peterson, the Shane Howard Band, Ryan Roberts, the Gordon Collier Band, Whiskey Hill, Spivey Crossing and Billy Ewing.

Carlene Hunt and Lisa Phoenix are in charge of setting up this wonderful event. Along with the bands, there will be food booths and craft booths galore. According to Carlene they are still taking orders for booths. “The booths are 15′ × 15′ and are $25.00 each. There is still space available for more booths. When you rent the space for your booth it includes two free passes which are $15.00 each for the music festival. We will be taking booth orders up until one week before the festival.”

Carlene also said, “You can come anytime to set up your booth on Saturday morning. We are at Miss Millies restaurant, where The No Fences Cowboy church meets. You want to make sure you bring a tent, tables and battery operated fans because there is no air conditioning since it is outside. Please prepare for the heat.”
