The IYAA Football season gets underway Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Upchurch Ballfields. The A-Team (Majors), the B-Team (Minors) and the C-Team (Bantam) will each have their first practice to meet the coaches and their teammates.

The IYAA is still accepting C-Team sign-ups consisting of kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. A few more players are still needed to fill out the roster. Last years team finished with an 8-1 record and after knocking on the door of the Superbowl last year. C-Team plans on kicking it in this season.

Interested coaches will need to fill out background checks forms on Tuesday as well.

Players should wear comfortable clothing and cleats if they have them. Also, players are allowed to bring their own Gladiatorade or water bottles.
