School is just around the corner, so that means homecoming is right behind. Homecoming is scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2009. Last year marked the return of the Italy Homecoming parade.

It was a wonderful success last year and we want it to be just as successful this year. It can only be successful with your help. The parade will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the high school parking lot. Any and everyone is invited to participate.

If you would like to have an entry in the parade (floats, horses, cars, etc.), please contact the Italy Administration Office at 972-483-1815.

We will need anyone who has a convertible and is willing, to please help drive our homecoming queen and king nominees in the parade. We will also need parents of any high school/junior high student to volunteer to help with their students float. If you can lend a truck, trailer or any other sort of decoration, please let us know.

We are hoping to make this years parade bigger and better and look forward to seeing you there.
