Avalon ISD was ready for Meet the Teacher Night. Everyone was there Thursday evening. Students and parents were meeting teachers and learning where all the class rooms were located. Teachers were happy to meet their new students and ready to make this year a good one for all.

Margret Day, (principal of Avalon ISD) said, “I am just excited to see all the kids and how they seem so happy to be back in school. I think it is going to be a great and wonderful year.”

Mrs. Lowe, a second grade teacher for Avalon ISD, said, “I am looking forward to meeting a whole new great group of kids this year.”

But the teachers and the principal were not the only ones excited. Valerie Martinez is in the third grade this year and said, “I am really excited about school this year. I am looking forward to math class, I am good in math.”

Trace Boswell a fifth grader said, “I am looking forward to P.E class, can’t wait for P.E.”

And Crickett Jones, a second grader, said, "I am looking forward to having a a great time at school.

Meet the Teacher Night was a success. Have a wonderful year Avalon ISD!
