Milford ISD Meet the Teacher Night
Milord ISD had a wonderful turn out for Meet the Teacher night Thursday evening. Marilee Byrne, (principal of Milford ISD) said, “We are glad that so many of our parents came. This is probably one of the better turnouts that we have had for Meet the Teacher Night in several years and we are so excited that our parents are interested. This way we can have more parent involvement and partnership with the parents in educating our students.”
Christi Strange, (assistant principal) said, “We are so exited about our ratings this year and can’t wait to continue on that same path this coming school year.”
Laura Harvey, a student of Milford ISD, said, “I am here today seeing all the teachers and meeting the new teachers for the first time. I am really looking forward to band this year.”
One of the new teachers at Milford ISD this year is Caleb Cox. He is the new high school science teacher and baseball coach. Last year he taught at Everman High School. “Everything is great here in Milford, I had met most of the students here tonight earlier in the week from football practice and a lot of the students were here at the school hanging out this last week.”
Principal Byrne bragged about her teachers, staff and school. “I am so excited about the caliber of our staff. We have some excellent, excellent teachers. We have some new teachers that we were fortunate to be able to attract who are certified, and knowledgeable with expertise in their field. We have a great superintendent. I can’t wait to get the year started.”
Have a great year Milford ISD!
