4-H Horse Club meeting scheduled for September 3

The 4-H Horse Club of Ellis County will have its first meeting of the school year on Thursday, September 3, at 6 p.m. at the Flying Dollar Ranch, located at 230 Chambers Dr., Italy, Texas. If you are interested in becoming a member or learning what 4-H is about, please attend this meeting.

4-H welcomes and offers opportunities for youth competing with all types of horse breeds and disciplines such as western, English, speed, reining, cowhorse and roping. 4-H members must be ages 9 to 19 as of August 1, 2009.

The 4-H horse club meetings will continue throughout the school year on the first Thursday of each month with additional ride nights and clinics.
