Ellis County Equine Association Presents Awards
“It’s so much fun to see everyone gathered together in clean clothes and not covered in dirt and smelling like a horse,” ECEA President Julie Hinz, of Italy, joked at the beginning of the ceremonies. “I do want to thank everyone’s hard work and all of the money donated by our sponsors, because without the help of sponsors and hard working members, clubs and awards banquets like this could not happen.”
In addition to horse show awards, ECEA honors four special members or families for their dedication and helpfulness to the club. Jennifer Alexander of Midlothian won the Billie Wesson Most Active New Member Award. Jimmy, Beth and Alyssa Ballew of Midlothian won the Randy McMullan Spirit Award.
