Kristie Holley lives a childhood dream
From the time Kristie Holley was a little girl she always wanted to be a school teacher. Kristie said, “When I was a little girl I would line up my dolls and play school. I always wanted to be a teacher.” Now Kristie is living that childhood dream at Stafford Elementary as their new sixth grade teacher.
Holley’s hometown is Maypearl, Texas where she graduated in 1988 from Maypearl High School. She went on to college at Baylor University and graduated in 1994 with her education degree. This is her seventh year to teach.
Kristie and her husband Kyle Holley have three children – two sons, Kolton who is twenty, Kort who is six and one daughter Karson who is eight years old. Christie taught at Milford ISD last year and left there to take the teaching position at Stafford Elementary where her children attend school.
When asked what she thought of Stafford Elementary, Holley said, “I think that Stafford Elementary is the best elementary school in the county. I am proud to be on Carolyn Maever’s team and part of her top notch faculty.”
“I love teaching in Italy because I love Italy and its residents. There is not a finer group of people in the state. Italy is my husband’s hometown and now proudly my children’s.”
Welcome aboard Kristie Holley!
