Friday afternoon at two o’clock Trinity Mission was filled with lots of birthday fun. There were lots of family and friends celebrating the many birthdays at Trinity Mission.

The residents celebrating their birthdays in September were: Clyde Riddle Jr., Billye Rutledge, Mary Amos, Clara Roberts, Jackie Adams, Audrey Aldredge, Margaret Oliphant, Francis Yarbrough, Judith Harwood and Alice Muenster.

Upon being asked what things you had learned over the years, Clyde Riddle Jr. said, “I have observed all these birthdays through the ages and it appears to me that they come quicker each year.” In Clyde’s younger years he served in the United States Air Force for twenty years and worked for the Texas Employment Commission for twenty years as a counselor."

Another birthday resident, Margaret Oliphant said, “I am 89 this month. Now I just have to live one more year to hit the 90 mark!” Maragret said she has learned through the years not to be critical of others because you never know what shoes they are walking in.

There were many birthdays, many friends and family, another good day at Trinity Mission. Happy Birthday!
