On Monday, October 19, 2009 the Board of Trustees of the Italy ISD will have a Board workshop followed by a regular monthly meeting. The workshop will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the superintendents office. The regular meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be conducted in the band hall of the Italy High School Campus. Both meeting locations can be found at the Italy High School campus at 300 South College.

The Board workshop’s lone agenda item reads “development of components in the district/board goals.”

The agenda of the 7:00 p.m. meeting contains the following items:

• Approve adoption of TASB Policy Update 85-Emergency Adoption on First Reading
• Ratify appointment of adjunct faculty: Joel Griffin
• Approve inter-local agreement with UTA/Lamar University for dual credit course work
• Approve inter-local agreement with Texas Virtual School Network

These meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
