Tuesday morning around 10:00 o’clock wonderful aromas could be detected outside Trinity Mission. They were having their annual tailgating party which included an awesome barbeque. Lots of the residents were outside wearing corsages that all the staff of Trinity Mission made for them.

Marie Wood (Trinity Missions administrator) said, “Today we are having the annual tailgate party. We are doing wheel chair races, tag football, having a wonderful cookout, and just celebrating life at Trinity Mission of Italy.”

Not only did the residents have fun games to participate in, a wonderful barbeque, but they also had a deejay, Robert Bibles, who played all kinds of country western music. Robert is a full time employee of Trinity Mission. He is from Hillsboro and on his time off he deejays functions around Hillsboro and surrounding towns. “He is the music man for all of our functions at Trinity,” explained Carolyn Powers (activities director).

Chris Baker (marketing director), said, “We are having our tailgating party today and Dr John and his staff were invited in appreciation of all they do for the residents. The staff at city hall were also invited because of all the hard work they do for us and the city.” Chris went on to say, “We are celebrating this beautiful day today with friends and the residents, enjoying games and good barbeque.”

Another great day of celebrating life at Trinity Mission.
