The IYAA football teams and cheerleaders enjoyed IYAA Picture Day on Tuesday. And even though picture day turned into picture night after the camera crew was delayed in the traffic, the kids were all smiles when it was time to say, “Cheese!”

The photographers were able to click the team pictures at Willis Field before dark. Once the sun set, the photo shoot moved into the old Italy gym for the individual shots.

“It was fun for the kids to get a chance to break away from their normal practice routines and interract with one another. Plus, they’ll each have photo keepsakes for reflecting back on their days in the IYAA,” said IYAA President Jason Escamilla.

The IYAA will battle the Dawson Bulldogs in Dawson on Saturday, October 24 with the C-Team kicking the day off at 9:30 a.m. The B-Team will follow starting at 11:00 p.m. and the A-Team will play in the finale at 12:30 p.m.
