Looking forward to the Italy Christmas Festival tomorrow
Tomorrow our little town will be bustling with fun and excitement. There will be a Christmas parade and lots and lots of booths and food galore. I even spotted a pick up truck loaded with bicycles. You guessed it-I am talking about Italy’s Annual Christmas Festival.
According to Janet Campbell (booth co-ordinator) there will be about thirty to thirty-five booths. Some of the booths will have jewelry, cosmetics, Pampered Chef, Sentsy wickless candles and warmers, sports apparel (Game on Athletics), and rustic decor (Rockin it Country). Italy High School band will be selling hot chocolate and hot cider. Clover Styles along with the Park Board will be selling hoodies, sweatshirts, monogramed blankets, T-shirts and Gladiator ornaments.
Let’s talk food! There will be turkey legs, sausage on a stick, catfish, gumbo, corn on the cob and lots more! Let’s just say no one will go hungry.
There will also be a raffle going on and I know that some lucky winners will walk a way with brand new bikes and lots of other great prizes.
If you have a booth at the festival Janet said, “Registration takes place at the Uptown Cafe at 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This is when you will get your booth number and fill out the necessary forms. We will see you in the morning.”
Come on out and support our town and have a great time doing it!
