Santa Claus Comes to Town by Fire Engine
Around 7:30 Thursday evening Santa Claus could be seen coming into Milford riding on a fire engine. There were lots and lots of children waving and yelling hello to Santa Claus. They couldn’t wait to sit on his lap and tell them what they wanted for Christmas.
The Milford Senior Citizens Center is where the fire engine stopped with Santa. Inside the center there was hot cocoa and cookies for all, but the best part was of course, Santa. The line of children waiting to see Santa went around the whole inside of the center. Many children were very happy to sit on his lap and tell Christmas secrets.
Carlos Phoenix (Milford police chief) said, “It is Santa Claus night. We have Santa Claus coming into town on the Milford Fire Engine. The kids can come and have hot cocoa and cookies. This is the fourth year we have done this. Last year we had three hundred and fifty kids and are expecting that and more this year.”
All the children were having their pictures taken with Santa and parents were having fun watching their children with Santa.
Just another happy day in Milford.
Merry Christmas!
