Friends and family gathered together in the IHS band hall on Thursday night to honor the new inductees for the National Junior Honor Society. New officers were elected and sworn in to their new jobs.

The old members welcomed the new inductees on Thursday night with all of their family and friends in the audience. Principal Tanya Parker said, “These students worked hard for this recognition tonight.” Each student was enlightened about the different jobs they have to uphold. Scholarship, leadership, character and citizenship are the main foundation of which National Honor Society is built and the members are expected to reach each goal.
