The UIL released the district alignments this morning. Turning in a student count of 206, Italy High School will be a 2A district for the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 school years.

Italy will be in Conference 2A, Division 2, Region 3, District 11 for Football along with these school districts:

• Blooming Grove
• Buffalo
• Centerville
• Jewett Leon

Conference 2A, Region 2, District 15 for Basketball along with:

• Axtell
• Clifton
• Grandview
• Keene Smith
• Maypearl
• Rio Vista
• Whitney
