Love is in the air — February 13, 2010, the junior class of Italy High School hosted a Valentines Day Dance for the 7th and 8th grades as a fundraiser for the Junior/Senior prom.

The Valentines Day Dance was held inside the Italy High School Cafeteria and the cost was $3.00 for singles and $5:00 per couple. Students from other schools and other grades were allowed into the dance as well.

The music selection was fun and festive with a little something for everyone. Everyone in attendance had a blast as Michael “Taz” Martinez and Ryan Ashcraft kept the tunes playing. There was even a Limbo contest in which Alex Minton proved she was the Limbo Queen.

Ryisha Copeland was crowned the Valentines Day Dance Sweetheart and Colton Petrey was chosen as the Valentines Day Dance Beau.
