Another great awards assembly at Stafford Elementary
Friday morning Stafford Elementary was filled with excited proud family members celebrating with the students at their awards assembly. Many proud students were being called to the front to receive their awards for; no “tiger paws” lost, all A’s, all A’s and B’s, all B’s, and all homework completed and handed in.
Mrs Maevers said, "Once again we have had a wonderful assembly. We gave out a lot of awards this time especially for no “tiger paws” lost. Good behavior and discipline is a big part of our academics. The students are paying attention, they are doing what they are supposed to do and it is showing in our academics. The students didn’t do this all by themselves. It is thanks to wonderful teachers and parents that makes these students achieve to the best of their abilities."
There were many proud parents, aunts, uncles, and family members clapping loudly for the success of the students. One proud mother (Pam Telatnyk) said, “Alexa (Telatnyk) did all her homework in the kindergarten and she got a certificate. Joshua (Telatnyk) made straight A’s in the fourth grade and we are very proud of both of them.”
Every six weeks seems to bring with it many more awards. Good job Stafford Elementary. Keep up the good work!
