Passport Day in the USA Passport Fair

The Ellis County District Clerk’s office is hosting a Passport Fair in Waxahachie, Texas on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm to provide passport information to U.S. citizens and to accept passport applications. The Ellis County District Clerk’s office is joining the Department of State in celebrating Passport Day in the USA 2010, a national passport acceptance and outreach event.
 
U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government. 
 
In order to complete your passport application, you must bring (2) professional passport photos, a certified copy (with a raised seal) of your birth certificate (which will be sent in with your application to the Dept. of State, but returned to you afterwards), a copy of front and back of valid ID, separate check or money order for each application and $25 cash or debit/credit card for each application.
