Thursday night at 6:00 pm lots of families were gathered at Stafford Elementary for the Stafford PTO’s second annual Family Night Bingo event and fundraiser.

Many could be seen enjoying the hotdog meal which consisted of a hotdog, chips and a drink for three dollars while playing a round of bingo.

The caller of the night was Doug Nelson and along with him was his side kick Amber Hooker. Amber said, “I am keeping track of the bingo chart to see who is a winner.” There were several different games of bingo being played such as: four corners bingo, x bingo, and regular bingo.

Andrea Hooker Vice president of Italy PTO said, “Tonight we are holding our 2nd annual family bingo night. It is free to come play and win prizes. We are trying to bring the parents and the children out of the community and bring them into the school to have a family night together. We also are serving a hotdog dinner that consists of hotdog chips and a drink. We are doing this so everyone can have fun and spend time together.”

The first bingo winner of the night was Raven Harper and her smile could not have been bigger.

Darlene McBride president of the Italy PTO said, “We started having bingo night last year and had so much fun that we want to have it every year now. We had a very good turn out. If you want a hotdog meal it is three dollars but the games and prizes are all free. The money from the hotdog meals go to extra things for the kids, like play day.”

A good time for all at Stafford Elementary.
