To Whom It May Concern:

Shortly after we lost “Mimi and Papa”, aka James & Doris Hartis, we placed two little ceramic frogs playing cards by their tombstone. This was five years ago.

Every week when we go to visit the gravesite we smiled and commented on Mimi and Papa together playing cards.

Last week, when I turned the corner to the cemetary I couldn’t believe my eyes! The little frogs were gone!

At least the thief left the flowers we had placed in front of the tombstone. We are grateful for that.

I just wish they could return the frogs as I feel we need them worse than they do.
