Each year since 1997 Stafford Elementary School’s fifth and/or sixth grade has participated in the St. Jude Math-a-Thon to support St. Jude Children’s Hospital as they continue the research to find the cure for childhood catastrophic diseases.

Since the beginning of our participation Stafford Elementary has raised $7904.37. In 1987 Stafford, also, participated and raised $1147.60 that year giving the school a total over the nine years of participation of $9051.97.

Stafford Elementary fifth and sixth grade students wish to thank those who supported their participation in the Math-a-Thon with donations as we continue to give our support to the research efforts of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The students of Stafford Elementary are learning compassion and the gift of giving to help others through this worthly program.
