Bel Branch community appreciates road work done by Precinct 3
Bel Branch: The Bel Branch community would like to thank the commissioner’s office Precinct 3 for the wonderful job they are doing in regards to improving the roadway that winds through the Bel Branch area located between Italy and Waxahachie.
The smoother and widened road is much safer for vehicles traveling in opposite directions. Trimming back the trees protects vehicles from damaging side view mirrors and from getting scratched by limbs and branches.
In summary, we appreciate the commissioner’s office Precinct 3 for directing the improvements made to the Bel Branch Community road system. There has been no overcutting of trees nor wreckless disregard for private properties. The Bel Branch Community wishes to thank Precint 3 and the crews that are working so hard to better our roadways.
From the Commissioner’s Office, Precinct 3:
“As efficiently as we can with the tax money we collect, we are making every effort to protect the health and safety of our traveling public. In addition, the widening of rural county roads in areas such as the Bel Branch community, allows road equipment and agricultural equipment to travel down these rural county roads without impeding traffic flow or creating driving hazzards,” stated Heath Sims, Ellis County Commissioner, Precinct 3.
Agenda item 3.3 – Trimming trees by Ellis County Road & Bridges Department will be a topic of discussion at the Commissioner’s Meeting on Monday, April 26 at 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the historical Ellis County Courthouse.
