All kinds of fun was going on Wednesday morning at Stafford Elementary. Students and teachers and parents were playing all kinds of games for Stafford’s Annual Play Day.

Some of the sixth graders were helping out with the games. Halee Turner and Cassidy Childers were helping with the game, “Duck, Duck, Squirt”. Halee said, “It is just like the Duck Duck Goose game except instead of tapping the players on the head to pick that player they squirt them with a squirt gun.” A good way to keep cool on this warm Texas day.

Kaci Bales, another sixth grader, was helping with the game “Target Frisbee” and she explained the way the game was played, “You throw a frisbee and where ever it lands it becomes the target and you throw a ball and whoever gets nearest to the frisbee wins.”

Mrs. Galvan (P.E. Aide) explained, “It is play day today. We have this every year in May and the kids enjoy it. There are games to play, picnic lunches outside. It is a fun day so the students can just relax and have a day of fun after the TAKS tests.”

Just another great day at Stafford Elementary!
