The Italy Economic Development Corporation authorized Mark Stiles, president, to negotiate property discussed in an executive session Friday evening.

The motion came from Elmerine Bell in a called meeting after the group spent approximately 45 minutes in an executive session with Ed Voss, city attorney. The motion passed unanimously.

Board members in attendance were Stiles, Mark Souder Sr., Randy Boyd, Bell, Tom Little and Darrell Rosemond. Member Joyce Hobbs was not present at the meeting.

Stiles said the board is not able to discuss anything regarding the property in question at this time.

The EDC regularly scheduled meeting is set Monday, June 28.
