On Tuesday, July 13 there will be a meeting for parents of athletes of Italy High School. There will be a representative from the CPA firm Patillo, Brown and Hill on hand to field questions regarding laws on the implementation of parent support organizations. Other Italy ISD parent support organizations (ie. band boosters, Stafford PTA) are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held at 6:30pm in the Italy High School Library.

Due to recent law changes these parent support organizations must reorganize. This meeting is to help everyone understand the laws and tax responsibilities that are taken on by these groups.

Please come to the meeting and show your support of your athlete.

In order for the Italy Athletic Booster Club to continue we must have parent support as we have lost several key members due to student graduations and other personal responsibilities.

This meeting will be a gauge on the amount of support that can be expected for the future of the booster club. Without the support the programs that have been instilled by this group will be discontinued, this does include scholarships. If you want these scholarships and other programs to be available for your athlete, come to the meeting.
