Meet the Teacher Night at Milford ISD

Students, parents and teachers attended the Milford ISD “Meet the Teacher Night”. Students were ready for school to start and teachers were ready for them.

Marilee Byrne (principal) was very excited for the new year to begin. “We are looking forward to another wonderful year with our students and faculty this year. We have added two paraprofessionals, Jenna Chambers is the kindergarten instructional aide and Phyllis Chambers (no relation) is our paraprofessional working in our library. All of of our teachers are returning and we are excited about our recognized status. Our enrollment looks to be just about the same as it was last year and we are ready for a wonderful new school year.”

Jenna Chambers (kindergarten aide for Mrs. Clingeneel). “This is my first year to work for Milford ISD. I graduated from Milford and I am looking forward to being home again. Now I am assisting teaching and will start my student teaching in January for the same class. I will be certified to teach pre-k through sixth grade and can’t wait to get started. Glad to be back at Milford ISD.”

The students are ready to reunite with friends and begin another wonderful year at Milford ISD.

Jalen Wallace — Jalen is in kindergarten this year and can’t wait to learn his letters. “My favorite thing that I am looking forward to is games and stuff!” (Cindy Sutherland)

Christian Cole & Mom — Christian is in the third grade this year and is excited about learing and playing with his friends and lunch time. (Cindy Sutherland)

Miguel Munoz — Miguel is in the first grade and can’t wait for recess! (Cindy Sutherland)

Ready for School — Puablo Galvao is in third grade this year in Miss Sessums class. He can’t wait to see his friends and work on his math. (Cindy Sutherland)

Seventh Graders — Alissa Sprayberry, Shelby Haze, Angel McCutchen, Caitlyn Tucker and Emily Garza are all in the 7th grade this year. Their favorite thing about school this year is their friends. (Cindy Sutherland)

Third Graders — Jaden Bar, Christian Cole, Jasean Rooks, and Ricky Pelatone are all in the third grade this year. They all agreed their favorite things about school this year is to learn, have fun and learn about animals. (Cindy Sutherland)
