Kathleen Luttrell has been working in convalescent centers for about thirty years. Fourteen of those years have been as an administrator and now she is the administrator at Trinity Mission in Italy.

During her career Kathleen has worked in many states such as Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, and Oregon, West Virginia. She wanted to be in Texas so when she was offered the position as administrator for Trinity Mission of Italy she jumped on it.

Kathleen has been married for three years to Steve Luttrull and has one daughter, Joyce DeCarlo and one grandchild, Meredith DeCarlo. The DeCarlo family resides in Philadelphia, PA, where Joyce works as a children’s photographer.

When asked what she liked about being an administrator for a convalescent center, Luttrull replied, "It is in my blood, it is just a part of me. I like building teams with the staff, it is like being a part of a big family. I don’t like bad endings. I want the residents to have a good life for however long they have. Being an administrator I can make this possible. She went on to say, " My objective for Trinity Mission is for it to continue to be a part of the community and continue to give good care to the residents."

“I love Italy. I was looking for a small town with a community that is involved with the nursing home and the patients. Italy is this small town. I don’t think the citizens of Italy know how rare this is for a town to be so caring and loving and involved with their senior citizens.”
