It was the time when Mary and Joseph rode into a small town on the back of a donkey to pay their taxes. The streets were filled with people, vendors at the marketplace, the tabernacle, camels, the candle maker, the tanner and so much more.

If you are interested in participating in a little slice of Bethlehem at the time of Christ’s birth, the casting calls are September 26 and October 3 from 2-4pm at Central Presbyterian Church at 402 N. College Street in Waxahachie.

If you are interested in taking this walking tour around the town of Bethlehem, it will be open the first two weekends of December, coinciding with the Candlelight Christmas Homes & the downtown Victorian Christmas Festival. It is a magical and wondrous time. Don’t miss it.
