The Milford Bulldogs play their Homecoming game tonight at 7:30 p.m.
The Milford Bulldogs, their cheerleaders, the Milford High School Band and Bulldog alumni and fans will be celebrating Homecoming 2010 tonight in a battle against Walnut Springs starting at 7:30 p.m. at Milford High School.
The citizens of Milford also celebrated Homecoming with a parade followed by a pep rally at the town park. The Milford Police and Fire Departments lead the pack of Bulldog parade participants from the Milford High School campus, down Highway 77, and eventually to the park.
The Milford High School Band and the band’s director Mike Trussell entertained the crowd dressed in royal blue while Milford’s Varsity and Junior High Cheerleaders performed routines and cheers.
Also, making an appearance were the Milford Little Pups who cheered and danced just like the big girls.
The MC of the event was Varsity cheerleading sponsor Winnona Crumpton who received assistance from Junior High cheerleading sponsor Tonya Krnavek. Cheerleaders passed out awards to students who participated during spirit week at the school. Russell Clingenpeel received the ‘Bulldog Spirit Award’ for all his enthusiasm.
“We had a test last week and we’ll be tested again tonight so Homecoming comes at the right time for our team as we’ll need all the fan support we can get against the Hornets,” stated Bulldog football coach Ronny Crumpton.
