A talented and young Milford Bulldogs Football squad starts their 2016 season 1-1 after challenging a pair of state-ranked opponents right out of the gate. Milford head coach Ronny Crumpton has the ’Dogs digging in for another exciting run for the playoffs.
Enjoy images from the Milford Bulldogs and their Friday homecoming events that began with a downtown parade followed by a pep rally in the park. The evening ended with head coach Ronnie Crumpton and the Bulldogs defeating the Oakwood Panthers 64-21.
Spirits are running high at Milford High School after beating New Castle in the six man semi-finals football game with a 66 – 58 win! They are ready for Saturday when they will play in the six man state championship game against Grandfalls Royalty at 3:00 PM at the AT&T stadium in Arlington.
The Milford Bulldogs were plum terrific in Blum forcing officials to invoke the 45-point lead mercy-rule after the Bulldogs went up 50-0 over the Bobcats in the third quarter Friday night. The Bulldogs travel to Trinidad this week hoping to win their conference opener over the Trojans.
After falling in their season opener to Richland Springs, the No. 3 ranked in 6M DII Milford Bulldogs (5-1) have posted three consecutive shutouts and outscored the last four opponents 236-14. Milford’s latest victim, the No. 20 ranked in 6M DI Walnut Springs Hornets, were 4-1 coming into Friday nights game but are now 4-2 after Milford defeated the Hornets 52-6 to cap off a week long Homecoming celebration for the Bulldogs.
The Milford Bulldogs, their cheerleaders, the Milford High School Band and Bulldog alumni and fans will be celebrating Homecoming 2010 tonight in a battle against Walnut Springs starting at 7:30 p.m. at Milford High School.
The Milford Bulldog Football All-District & All-Regional Honors were announced for 2008. Eight Milford players were recognized for their achievements this past season. The Italy Neotribune would like to congratulate all these young men for a job well done.
The Milford Bulldogs ran their record to 4 and 0 on the year with a 46 to zero Homecoming victory Friday night.
