Teachers’ attendance incentives at Stafford Elementary
Tammy Wallis (Stafford principal) has just started an attendance incentive at Stafford Elementary for the teachers. The winners get to enjoy a free meal at Chili’s.
Wallis said, “We like to recognize the teachers that have been at school for a full six weeks without an absence. Every teacher deserves to eat a meal that someone else prepares.”
The way this works is, the name of every teacher that has not been absent for six weeks will be put in a “hat”. Three names are blindly drawn to receive a Chili’s Card.
Nine teachers for the six weeks that did not miss a day are; Teresa Young, Teresa Cockran, Paula Mandrell, Rochelle Helner, Beverly Cox, Peri Patterson, Octavia Dorazil, Jennifer Aguado and Kim Nelson.
The three lucky winners are: Octavia Dorazil, Jennifer Aguado and Kim Nelson.
When asked what they thought about winning a free meal they said, “It is great to be paid for something we love to do.”
“Kudos to these teachers and we hope they enjoy the food,” explained principal Wallis.
Congratulations!
