Boo!

Even scarier than the first day of school was Halloween dress-up day this past Friday at both Italy High School and Stafford Elementary. Teachers as well as students participated in the gory fun.

Halloween Dress-up day culminated a week long event which included:

  • Monday — Favorite Recording Artist Day
  • Tuesday — Red Day
  • Wednesday — Nerd Day
  • Thursday — Jersey Day
  • Friday — Dress-up day

Congratulations to Stafford Elementary’s Tanner Chambers who won the Red Day contest with 51 separate pieces of red pinned to him. Red Day reminds students to Believe, Achieve, Succeed and stay Drug Free!

Yep, it was a regular Nightmare on College Street for the Italy High School student body. While over at Stafford Elementary, werewolves, bats and many other little monsters lurked around every hallway corner.

In the distance, visitors to Stafford could be heard screaming in horror. Occasionally, however, a fireman, a ninja or an angel costume would appear to remind everyone that it was just Halloween dress-up day and it was all in good fun!

Happy Halloween, Italy!
