As you walked into Trinity Mission last Thursday morning your ears were delighted with tunes of Christmas songs being sung by Stafford Elementary second grade students. You could see smiles on the faces of the residents and you could even hear some of them singing along.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town, It Must be Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, and Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree were just some of the songs being sung. These talented second graders even sang We Wish You a Merry Christmas a-cappella!

Carolyn Powell (activities director) said. “The school kids from Stafford Elementary have arrived and Christmas is in the air. There will be singing and candy for all. The residents are always happy to see the students from Stafford Elementary come at Christmas time to sing their cute Christmas carols.”

The residents handed out candy canes to all the students and even received a few hugs.

Merry Christmas!
