Paula Zalucki is Trinity Mission’s new administrator. She has been at Trinity Mission for about two weeks, “I am proud to be selected as the administrator for Trinity Mission of Italy. I regard Trinity Mission as more than a skilled nursing facility but as the home for more than 70 residents. It is an honor to have the opportunity to come into their home and serve them with the utmost dignity and respect. The residents and staff have created a true family environment that is warm and welcoming.”

Zalucki attended junior high and high school in Arlington, Texas. She graduated from James Bowie High School and went on to the University of Houston where she graduated with a B.S. in biology with a minor in psychology. But she did not stop there, she went on to graduate studies at the Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, earning her MBA.

Recently Zalucki completed the requirements to be licensed as a nursing home administrator in the states of Texas and New Mexico. She has been a healthcare executive with more than 24 years experience in hospitals, multi-hospital systems and nursing care facilities.

Boyd Cornellis (regional vice president with Covenant Dove) said, “Paula came to us with a lot of good experience in the hospital area. She has been wonderful since she has been here. We have gone through some of the orientation and things for Trinity Mission of Italy and she has quickly taken them on and has become part of the Trinity Mission family. I firmly believe she will continue to develop that as she goes on here at Trinity Mission and in the community.”

The new administrator prides herself on being involved in community and volunteer organizations such as Girls, Inc. of Tarrant County, she is an alumna of Leadership Fort Worth, a member of the Junior League and is active with the Tarrant County Chips Coalition, encouraging eligible children to enroll in the Children’s Health Insurance Program to access healthcare. Her plan is to get involved in community organizations in Italy.

Zalucki has a little “off” time and when she does she said,“I like to volunteer a lot both in professional and community organizations and I am looking forward to getting involved in some of the Italy community groups as well. For relaxation I do gardening and I am actually a ‘domestic goddess’ in disguise, I like to do a lot of needle work, sewing, and I learned to knit this year.”

When asked what her goal is for Trinity Mission administrator Zalucki said,“Trinity Mission is a vital part of this community. My goal is to be sure we are good stewards of the community, that we are involved with the community in different activities beyond just the residents here. Also to be a good employer of people of choice for the people of Italy. We want to give back to the community as much as they have given to us.”

“One of the first things I noticed about Trinity Mission is the true warmth of the atmosphere here. It is very much a family atmosphere among the residents as well as the staff. There is no segregation of the staff and the residents, it is one big happy family and you really feel that when you come in. It doesn’t feel like an institution, it feels like a home of seventy people. You feel a lot of love in this place.”

Welcome Paula Zalucki, we are glad you are here!
