The Italy EDC will have a called meeting on Monday, February 7, 2011. In addition to the meeting there will also be a hearing. The agenda slates the community center project as its primary topic of business. The meeting and hearing will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers at will begin at 6:30pm.

• Italy Economic Development Corporation, a Type B corporation, Italy, Texas is holding a Public Hearing seeking public input and discussion regarding the design of the Italy Community Center Project, located at 100 and 108 East Main Street, in Italy, Texas.

• Discuss and consider necessary action(s) regarding Resolution No. R11-0207-01, A Resolution of the Italy Economic Development Corporation approving Phase 2 of the Italy Community Center Improvements Project; Authorizing the President to enter into demolition, engineering and other contracts for the project; and providing an effective date.
• Discuss and consider necessary action(s) regarding a resolution to elected Federal Offices regarding the Italy Post Office and the need to insure its continued operation.
