Mrs. Burns, Testing Coordinator/Counselor at the Italy High School campus wants to remind all Italy Jr High and High School parents that on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 all 7th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade students will be taking the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) test, which measures student’s mastery of the state-mandated curriculum.

On Tuesday, March 1, testing will begin promptly at 8:00am, please ensure that your student is on time and prepared to test.

It is encouraged that each student get a good nights rest before the test, as well as eat a good breakfast the morning of the test.

Students will test all day so please do not make any appointments for this date.
