Italy High School Library hosted its third annual Mardi Gras Party in the Library on Fat Tuesday, March 8. All students and staff were treated to slices of King Cake and the students who got the “plastic baby” in their slice got all their library fines deleted and special Mardi Gras beads.

In addition everyone in the school received bright purple, gold, or green beads — the traditional colors of Mardi Gras. Nolan Griffith, HS library student aide, helped in distributing the beads.

Staff members Michael Destefani, Brenda Davis, Jenny Bales, and Kim Burns helped serve the King Cakes.
