Mayor Jackson’s Eleventh Annual Easter Egg Hunt
It’s that time again! It’s time for Mayor Jackson’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Italy. But it is not at the library this year. They have changed the location to the UpChurch Ball Fields.
Mayor Jackson explained, “We moved it to UpChurch Fields because it is a bigger and safer place for the kids and like every year we are expecting a lot of kids.”
The Park Board is once again sponsoring the Annual Easter Egg Hunt and they really need donations.
Mayor Jackson said, “It is going to be a big event. We are expecting a bunch of eggs and prizes and a bunch of kids. We need all the donations we can get.”
If you would like to donate plastic eggs, filled eggs, candy, money for money eggs and prizes either go to City Hall or call 972-483-7329 and dial extension one, two or three and someone will answer your questions and except your donations.
Mayor Jackson explained, “Last year we had over five thousand eggs and those eggs were gone in less than thirty minutes. I think it is great. These kids really enjoy it, that is what it is all about. They look forward to it and so do I.”
The Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 23rd at 10:00 AM at the UpChurch Ball Fields for children up to the fourth grade.
So come on out and have a wonderful time!
