Every year, the Tour d’Italia raises funds which benefit Italy High School, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and other North Texas charities. This year, the Tour d’Italia enters its 26th year and it will be bigger and better than ever!

Tour d’Italia and Summer Fest Host Committee forming!!!

The 2011 Tour d’Italia will take place on Saturday, June 18th and the planning has already begun. A Host Committee is being formed for this year’s ride and we are seeking individuals to join us who share our passion and desire to make this the best ride ever.

Some of the exciting things being planned include:

• A Bicycle Rodeo
• Vendor Booths
• A Rest Stop Decorating Contest
• Helmet Fitting and Bike Safety Demos

In addition, we will be recruiting volunteers to help with parking, registration and set-up for the ride so if you’re interested in helping out, please let us know!!
