Public input sought for community center construction

The Italy Economic Development Corporation is seeking public input regarding the construction of a community center.

The IEDC hired an architect and will hold a public workshop in the Italy High School cafeteria on Monday, June 27, at 6 p.m. to prepare a “needs and wants” list.

The members stressed the critical need for public input as to what type of facility would best serve the community. The footprint of the building is 3,800 square.

Finger foods will be served at the meeting.
