Kennon Bridges new Marketing Director for Trinity Mission
Kennon Bridges always knew he wanted to be involved with helping people. Being a pastor’s son gave him an insight into people’s needs and the opportunity to visit nursing homes, see his father help the residents and help enrich their lives. It was just natural that he would choose working in the health care field as his career, what better way to help people. And his position of director of marketing is a perfect fit at Trinity Mission.
Bridges grew up in Waxahachie, graduated from Waxahachie High School and continued his education at Southwestern Assembly of God University. His studies included marketing, psycology, and counseling.
Kennon started his career in the health care industry as a maintenance director for a nursing home, then went into the home health industry for several years as an intake co-ordinator. He explained, “In this position I was taking all the calls from the doctors and the hospitals and the social workers that were sending people home. So I was getting to know all the social workers and discharge planners which worked perfectly for me when I took a position in marketing. I was already familiar with lots of the social workers, therapists, doctors and discharge planners. But now instead of taking all the calls I was the one making all of the calls.”
When asked what his long term goal in this industry was, Bridges responded, “I could see myself ten years from now being an administrator for Trinity Mission. Trinity Mission is owned by Covenant Dove and they have several Trinity Mission facilities in several cities such as Trinity Mission of Burleson, Trinity Mission of Grandbury and several more in Texas.”
“Helping people is what I love best about my job. Knowing that I can help people with their loved ones in a very critical time in their lives. Going to nursing homes with my Dad seeing him help them, that is when I knew I wanted to do the same thing. I just love it,” said Bridges when questioned what he loved best about his job.
“My goal for Trinity Mission is to continue the high quality of care they have already established and to do whatever I can to serve the people that are here. My function is outside the building dealing with the social workers, hospitals, evaluating patients to see if they are a good fit for Trinity Mission. It is important to make the right fit. Important to do a good evaluation to see what their needs are,” explained Bridges.
Welcome and we are glad you are here, Kennon Bridges!
