June was busting out all over with lots of birthdays at Trinity Mission. There were lots of smiles, cake and ice cream for all to enjoy.

The June birthdays were celebrated by Evelyn Jenkins, L.V. Goodwin, Helen Honsicker, Tina Dulin, James Bell, Mary Crawford and Elaine Jackson.

Tina Dulin turned ninety-five on her birthday. Her daughter Freddie Williams said “We had a big ice cream cake and all of Tina’s children and grandchildren were all here. My mom really enjoyed herself and can’t wait for her next birthday.”

Evelyn Jenkins turned ninety-one on her birthday which she is very proud of. She said, “If you eat the right kind of food and exercise you will live a good life and feel really good. I am happy to be here.”

Mary Crawford turned eighty-one and on her birthday.  Her whole family and her church family came and celebrated her birthday in the garden at Trinity Mission. Carolyn Powell said, “There were a bunch of people here and a big cake. She had a fine turn out for her birthday.”

When asked what she thought about celebrating another birthday Elaine Jackson replied, “I just thank God for letting me be here. It is by His Grace that I am here. And I thank Him for the years that he has given me and I hope there are more to come.”

Carolyn Powell said, “Our June birthday residents had a lot of fun on their birthdays. We celebrated with cake and ice cream. We can’t wait to celebrate more birthdays in every month.”

Happy Birthday!
