With the start of school just around the corner, Italy ISD would like to invite students and parents to a “Meet the Teacher” event on Thursday, August 18th beginning at 5:30 p.m.  

A school-wide general assembly will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the George Scott gymnasium during which district information will be provided and new personnel will be introduced.  Free ice cream will be available at this “meet and greet” event and we encourage your attendance as we begin a new school year.

Upon completion of the general assembly at 6:30 p.m., parents and students are invited to visit specific campuses and individual classrooms from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.  During that time students can visit their classrooms and drop off school supplies. Students in grades 7th through 12th may pick up their schedules at this time.
