Shelbee Landon joined the Italy Police Department August 1 as Animal Control Officer and Code Enforcement Officer.  Shelbee is also part-time Animal Control Officer for the Hillsboro Police Department.

Shelbee was in retail sales before becoming an Animal Control Officer.

Shelbee has had previous animal control training and has already been involved in capturing loose animals in the City of Italy.  You will see her in a gray Animal Control truck driving around.  

Please don’t hesitate to call the Italy Police Department, 972-483-6414, ext. 6, if you see any loose animals (dogs, cats, foxes, raccoons, etc.), so that she retrieve the animals.  As of right now, she works four days a week.

Shelbee will also be the contact person for Code Enforcement issues as well.
