Thursday — It wasn’t pleasant, it wasn’t nice and it wasn’t even acceptable. No, Thursday was Tacky Day at Italy High School and students took advantage and just came as they were, so to speak. No time was wasted in trying to find a pair of matching socks, or a stylish shirt or a pair of pants without holes in them before school. It was a good dry run before Halloween, you might say…Tacky!

The Gladiators did manage to straighten themselves out and arrived at school this morning adorned in the school colors for Gold and White Spirit Day. The girls with their mums and the guys with their arm garters added extra spirit to what will truly be a fun filled day with a car bash at noon, a parade at 3:00 p.m. and the Homecoming game between Italy and Blooming Grove tonight at 7:30 p.m.

The Gladiator Regiment Marching Band and Flag Corp will perform at 7:00 p.m. and you do not want to miss that!
